DIVORCE
Divorce, divorce reasons, custody, property regimes, compensation, alimony are regulated within the scope of the second book of the Turkish Civil Code, which is Family Law. Divorce is the termination of marriage by a court decision based on a reason specified in the law while the spouses are alive, as a result of a lawsuit filed by one of the spouses.
ALIMONY
One of the areas where disputes intensify and become significant in divorce cases is alimony. Alimony can be requested as part of the divorce case or separately through a separate lawsuit after the divorce decision.
CUSTODY
Custody refers to the legal responsibility for the care and upbringing of a child. It is determined by the court in cases such as divorce or separation of parents. Custody represents the legal authority given to parents to make decisions regarding the child's life, education, health, and overall welfare.
